Our Dream Team
The Creative Minds Behind Art Walks and Urban Adventures
At the heart of Art Walks and Urban Adventures are a group of creative individuals who love exploring, storytelling, culture and art. Alongside our individual careers as artists, writers, photographers and educators, we all love the cities we live in and enjoy sharing our experiences with others.
Together, we help bring you the best art, the most interesting urban stories and reveal the hidden corners only known to locals.
Collaboration in Motion
Our global team met through a shared passion for cities, art, culture, and walking as a creative act. Today, we collaborate on both structured tours and experimental urban adventures. Each ones of our guiding styles is unique, informed by fieldwork, research, and a strong belief in making cultural knowledge accessible, engaging, and human.

Who We Are: Urban Storytellers in the Heart of a City
Welcome to Art Walks and Urban Adventures, where every corner of the city tells a story, and we’re here to help you hear it.
We are a passionate collective of urban explorers, local creatives, historians, artists, and journalists who have made global cities such as New York, Barcelona and Copenhagen our home and playground. Our team includes urban activists, artists, performers, cultural researchers, and curious minds who all share one conviction: to see, feel, and understand cities in a deeper, more meaningful way.
We guide as a practice of sharing knowledge; We reveal. Through immersive, story-rich walking tours, we help locals and visitors alike decode the layers of the city: from fin art, architecture and street art to immigrant history, hidden landmarks, and modern city life. Our tours don’t follow a script, they follow a mindset of curiosity, openness, and wonder.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor, a local, or somewhere in between, we invite you to come explore with us and experience a city’s many faces: past, present, and future.

Born in the Streets of New York, Grown to the Global Cities of the World
Art Walks and Urban Adventures began as a small project among friends in New York in 2017. we were, (and still are!) all obsessed with the urban fabric of the city. We would take long walks, ask questions, dig through city archives, and get lost on purpose. We realized that our love of New York was something we wanted to share; not just as a list of facts or sights, but as a way of thinking and seeing.
Over time, our walks turned into structured routes. Our routes turned into public tours. And our public tours turned into a professional passion project rooted in urban storytelling, street-level research, then expanding with likeminded people who take joy of walking through some of the most vibrant cities in the world.
Our approach combines deep historical insight with a contemporary lens. We connect the dots between what once was and what is today, between local stories, history, architectural styles, the global art scene and world-class museums.
We believe every street has a story, and every story helps you understand the world a little better.
What Makes Our Walking Tours Different?
Insightful. Personal. Fun.
We don’t follow the guidebook, we write it.
At Art Walks and Urban Adventures, we take you off the beaten track and dive into the less known part of the city. We explore neighborhoods as well as cultural institutions, and are fluent in city life as well as contemporary art.
We will discuss how gentrification reshapes neighborhoods, how immigrant communities bring new ideas, diversity and flavor, how architecture reflects power, and how graffiti became a language of resistance.
In each city we’ve designed walking tours that center themes like:
- Art and Architecture at The Metropolitan Museum – a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s largest and most influential museums
- Decoding Barcelona – Learn about Catalan Modernisme, a movement known for a specific building style, yet is rooted in European anarchism philosophy
- Copenhagen Expanding – Meet Nordhavnen, Copenhagen’s new and exciting neighborhood, where urban planning meets Scandinavian design with the public in mind
- Gallery hop art Tour – learning about the current contemporary art scene in New York live, where some of the best US galleries operate
- Custom and Private Tours – tailored to your interests, pace, and vibe
And more are always in the works. Our walking tours typically last between 90 minutes to 2 hours, and can be combined to build a longer half-day or full-day experience. Whether you’re interested in art, politics, food, public space, or hidden gems, we’ve got something special for you.

We walk at a gentle pace and make room for questions, tangents, side-streets, and spontaneous discoveries. The only thing we require is your curiosity.
